The starting line-ups are in from the Etihad Stadium where Manchester City welcome Southampton in Premier League action.

For the home side, Jérémy Doku has been ruled out of action for a month and they make four changes from the team which won 5-0 in the Champions League in midweek, with Phil Foden retaining his place after impressing and Matheus Nunes making his first league start.

Saints are without the suspended Ryan Fraser but are unchanged from the starting side which capitulated to a 3-2 defeat to Leicester last weekend.

Manchester City: Ederson; Lewis, Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol; Kovačić, Foden, Silva; Sávio, Nunes, Haaland.

Southampton: Ramsdale; Walker-Peters, Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Stephens; Dibling, Lallana, Downes, Fernandes, Manning; Archer.

City can return to the top of the table with a victory, while Russell Martin’s men are seeking their first three points of the season.
