Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar was among the players to pay tribute to Edoardo Bove.

The Fiorentina midfielder – on loan from Roma – was given an impressive round of applause and chants from the Giallorossi fans in the stands for Roma-Fiorentina.

After the game, Svilar, who shared the locker room with Bove for two years, said, “It’s so beautiful how the stadium paid homage to him, it’s a a really wonderful thing.”

“This shows that this stadium and this club are a home. He is always one of us and I hope he can get back to doing what he loves most soon. He is an incredible footballer and a great guy.”
