Roma ownership keen on move for Como manager Cesc Fabregas | OneFootball

Serie A side Roma are looking to step up their pursuit for Como head coach Cesc Fabregas.

According to a report by Corriere dello Sport, Roma have emerged as the frontrunners to appoint Como’s Cesc Fabregas as their new head coach for the new season.

The Spaniard is yet to convey his decision regarding his future at Como but the Lombardy-based club are not looking to part ways with their manager.

Claudio Ranieri is set to leave Roma but he will take an active part in the process of appointing a new coach. He and sporting director Florent Ghisolfi like Fabregas and they have a job on their hands to convince Como to seal him.

The Giallorossi will aim to build on the positive momentum they have gathered this season onto the next one and to start the process for potentially challenging for the title like their other league counterparts, they will require an able head coach to be at the helm of the club.
