Manchester United are reportedly keen on a potential transfer deal for RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Xavi Simons this summer.
The Netherlands international has shone with an impressive tally of ten goals and eight assists in all competitions for club and country so far this season.
One of the finest young players in the world, we’ve seen Xavi Simons linked with Man United before, and there’s now fresh speculation about a potential move to Old Trafford.
Sky Sports cite their sources in Germany as claiming that the Red Devils are keen to land the 21-year-old, who would have an asking price of around £67m.
It is suggested that United will likely require some player sales before they can spend big on signings this summer.

Simons looks like he has a big future ahead of him, and he’s already an attacking midfielder who can make an impact on games, similarly to Bruno Fernandes.
It’s been another superb season for Fernandes at United, and if Ruben Amorim had another player like that in his midfield then the team would surely be performing a lot better.
Simons looks like he has similar potential, so could be ideal to help MUFC climb up the Premier League table next season.
Still, it remains to be seen if United will be able to get the player sales they need in order to be able to afford this signing.
On top of that, Simons seems like someone who’ll surely also have other offers on the table if he leaves Leipzig.
United are undoubtedly a big name, but it’s a difficult period for them and it remains to be seen if they’d be able to convince Simons to join while they’re out of the Champions League and struggling to compete with their rivals like Liverpool and Arsenal.
