Facing his parent club, Marco Asensio is expected to start from the bench as Aston Villa travel to the Parc des Princes for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

UEFA rules stipulate that Asensio can face PSG tonight, despite being under contract with the club, however, if he is to make an impact, it will likely have to be from the bench. Ollie Watkins is also not expected to start with Marcus Rashford, who almost joined Les Parisiens back in 2022, set to lead the line this evening. Jacob Ramsey is expected to play off the left and Morgan Rogers off the right.
