Brighton and West Ham lock horns in the Premier League on Saturday, April 26th, at 3pm (UK time). The match will not be broadcast live in the United Kingdom.

Only Everton (14) have drawn more games than Brighton (12) in the Premier League this season, with the Seagulls enduring two stalemates in their last four matches. West Ham have also drawn two of their last four matches, while the last two meetings between these sides have ended all square.

Brighton have conceded seven penalties in the Premier League this season, with only Southampton (9) conceding more. However, the Seagulls have also been awarded five penalties, with only Bournemouth (7) and Liverpool (9) winning more — including two in their last match. West Ham have both won and conceded three penalties.

How both teams go into Brighton vs West Ham

Just when they looked on the cusp of challenging for a Champions League spot, Brighton have fallen away, taking just two points from their last four matches. Their most recent outing was the most disappointing, with the Seagulls twice throwing away a lead to draw 2-2 at home to a Leicester side that had lost their previous eight Premier League matches without scoring a goal. Brighton have slipped to ninth as a result, eight points adrift of Newcastle in fourth and seven behind Man City in fifth — which should be a UCL spot.

Things are much worse for West Ham who, after a brief upturn with wins and clean sheets against Arsenal and Leicester, have now taken just two points from their last five games. The Hammers have slipped to 17th following a 2-1 defeat away at runaway leaders Liverpool. Luckily, West Ham are 14 points clear of Ipswich in 18th, with the bottom three entirely cut adrift ahead of the last six games.

Brighton team news

Adam Webster, Ferdi Kadioglu, Georginio Rutter, Igor, James Milner, Jason Steele and Tariq Lamptey all make up a lengthy injury list for Brighton. However, Joel Veltman and Kaoru Mitoma should both be fit to return to the squad ahead of this match.

West Ham team news

Crysensio Summerville and Michail Antonio will both miss this match through injury, but West Ham should have a full squad available otherwise.

Brighton vs West Ham head-to-head

West Ham are unbeaten in their last three matches against Brighton, although the last two have ended all square. That follows a run of three straight wins for Brighton in this fixture.
