Celtic minded media deflect from Rangers mauling yet again | OneFootball

It is abundantly clear that the outrage over Vaclav Cerny and his water incident is pure deflection.

The Rangers attacker infamously soaked a whole bunch of Celtic fans with a water bottle following Rangers’ stunning victory on their patch and now faces a potential suspension of 8 matches and the subsequent end of his Rangers career.

Many are asking why that would be the end of his career, welll that’s simply because 8 matches would take him beyond the loan deal and there is no guarantee Rangers can afford to sign him permanently.

But this gets away from the point which is that his indiscretion at Celtic Park is what the Celtic minded media and that club itself has chosen to focus on rather than the fact that they were beaten.

It’s simple deflection from the result and it’s not the first time they’ve done it.

Should he have done it? Who cares is the answer.

He simply squirted water at a bunch of fans who it is well known had been chucking missiles themselves.

Crime of the century? Hardly. But it is a classic case of sweep sweep to take away from the fact that Celtic lost.

If it hadn’t been Cerny’s water incident, it would’ve been something else.

It’s not that complicated.
