Italian giants AC Milan have made contact with Chelsea over a possible move for Portugal international Joao Felix according to reports.
The January window is now in full swing, and whilst the Blues were initially expected to have a quiet month it seems their plans have somewhat changed.
Chelsea have recalled Trevoh Chalobah from Crystal Palace after injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile, whilst they are also looking to add in the attacking areas.
The Blues have been linked with Mathys Tel and Liam Delap, whilst they have made a shock enquiry for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.
In order to facilitate a new attacker in the squad the Blues will need to find a solution for one of their current players, which could be easier said than done.
Christopher Nkunku is the most likely candidate to depart and he’s keen on a move to Bayern Munich, although any progress on that move is thought to have stalled.

One player who wasn’t expected to leave was Felix, with the 25-year-old arriving in the summer from Atletico Madrid for £45m and signing a seven year contract at Stamford Bridge.
However, Di Marzio have reported AC Milan have made contact with the Blues over a possible move for Felix, with the Serie A club in the market for an attacker.
The report adds that Felix is appreciated by Milan boss Sergio Conceicao, although Chelsea are currently saying no to a loan deal.
Felix has struggled for regular game time under Enzo Maresca and has started just three Premier League games this season.

The attacker has made 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals, but only one of those has been in the Premier League, although he’s scored four times in five Conference League matches, and netted a brace against Morecambe in the FA Cup.
Felix can’t be happy with his game time and it was reported Maresca had to be convinced about the Portuguese in the summer, and it will be interesting what game time he gets over the second half of the campaign.
