The Friedkin Group are in advanced negotiations for the acquisition of a data company specialized in analysis applied to the world of football.
An operation designed to provide an additional technical tool to David Moyes, current coach of the Toffees, in identifying the profiles best suited to his style of play.
But the investment, according to City A.M., will not be limited to the English club alone: Roma will also be able to benefit from this new structured approach to recruitment.
The objective is clear: to accelerate the internal renewal already started by the Friedkins after the acquisition of Everton.
The first step was the change at the top of the technical area, with the new sporting director Hammond.
Now, the focus is shifting to artificial intelligence applied to scouting, with the aim of making the decision-making process on the market more efficient and scientific.
The final say on the operations will remain in the hands of the trio composed of Moyes, Hammond and the new CEO Kinnear.
However, the services provided by the data company being acquired should also constitute a common analytical basis for Roma, thus creating a shared model between the two clubs of the Friedkin group.
