Arsenal have announced that defender Gabriel Magalhães will miss the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury.
The Brazilian picked up the injury early into the Gunners' 2-1 win at home to Fulham, a game that also saw Bukayo Saka return from a long injury.
"Further to being substituted during our match against Fulham on Tuesday, we can confirm that Gabriel Magalhães has sustained a hamstring injury which requires surgery," the club said in an official statement.
"Gabi will undergo a surgical repair procedure to his hamstring in the coming days, and immediately begin his recovery and rehabilitation programme, with the aim to be ready for the start of next season.
"Everyone at the club will be fully focused on supporting Gabi to ensure he is back to full fitness as soon as possible."
Mikel Arteta's side have had rotten luck this season leading the league with 27 different injuries in the 2024/25 season according to Physioroom.com.
