Several AC Milan players have come under fire for their performances during the 2-1 defeat at the Stadio Artemio Franchi against Fiorentina on Sunday night.

Moise Kean was the first player to miss a penalty before Milan loanee Yacine Adli gave the hosts the lead, then Theo Hernandez and Tammy Abraham each missed from 12 yards. Christian Pulisic equalised with an amazing volley, but Albert Gudmundsson scored the winner for La Viola that was probably deserved.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) has their ratings from the game, starting with the overall team performance which was a 5 out of 10 and Paulo Fonseca’s management which scored a worrying 4.5.

The worst player on the field was Theo Hernandez (4) after he gave away a penalty, missed one at the other end and then got a red card after the full-time whistle, while Christian Pulisic (6.5) was the best performer for Fonseca’s side.

Mike Maignan got the same mark as the American winger while only Matteo Gabbia, Youssouf Fofana and Samuel Chukwueze also got a passing grade of 6.

Tijjani Reijnders and Noah Okafor both got a 5.5, with Emerson Royal, Alvaro Morata, Rafael Leao and Tammy Abraham each scoring 5. Fikayo Tomori (4.5) was the other player who struggled.
