Two years ago on Tuesday, Jamie Vardy scored against Manchester United to set a new Premier League record for consecutive games with a goal.
Two years on from that, Vardy reminded everyone that he is no one-season wonder.
The 30-year-old showed unbelievable technique to open the scoring for Leicester City in their Premier League match against Tottenham.
Vardy made a clever run behind the defence and he was found by a perfectly-timed ball from Marc Albrighton.
But he still had lots of work to do and whereas many players would have tried to take the ball down, Vardy sensed Hugo Lloris’s position and met the ball with a first-time flick.
The result was a gorgeous, looping finish that left Lloris stranded and gave Leicester an early lead.
