Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are preparing for a crucial UEFA Champions League semifinal, with just 180 minutes standing between them and a spot in the final. The two teams faced each other in the group stage, but PSG has shown significant improvements since then.
The Premier League side secured their semifinal berth with a dominant 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the second leg, completing a 5-1 aggregate win.
PSG also advanced with a 5-1 aggregate advantage, though their journey was far more nerve-wracking, edging past their opponents with a 5-4 aggregate victory.
Neither team is coming into this clash on a high note. PSG drew 1-1 with FC Nantes and suffered an unexpected loss to OGC Nice, ending their unbeaten streak in Ligue 1. Arsenal, on the other hand, played to a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia recently spoke with PSG’s official website and shared the mindset that the squad needs to pull off a positive result on the road against the Gunners in the first leg.
“It’s probably the biggest football tournament in my opinion,” Kvaratskhelia said. “It’s every footballer’s dream to play in it. And everyone wants to win it, but it’s incredibly difficult. Reaching this stage is difficult for any team.
“The name says it all: the Champions League. It’s a tournament for champions, and every club has the ability and the skills to win it. We’ll have to stay focused on our game, concentrate fully on every match and every moment.”
