With Roma prevailing in the Derby della Capitale by two unanswered goals, the Lazio players were expectedly handed low ratings by the Italian newspapers (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).
While the league table had suggested that the Biancocelesti were the favorites, the odds were once again thrown out of the window, with the Giallorossi stunning their ‘guests’ by scoring twice in the first 18 minutes and clinging on to their two-goal cushion until the end of the contest.
Marco Baroni was outplayed by his old manager Claudio Ranieri, as Roma replicated the same maneuver on the buildup of the two goals, with Artem Dovbyk drawing Alessio Romagnoli to the middle of the park, before catching the Lazio defences off guard. Therefore, the Aquile boss and his defender both received below-bar grades on some of the accounts.
The same goes for Gustav Isaksen who was hauled off at the interval alongside Fisayo Dele-Bashiru after failing to make an impact. Nicolo Rovella also earned a 4/10 on one account after losing the plot in the first half. All in all, none of the Lazio players earned high ratings, with the best mark received being 6/10.
