Nicolo Rovella is keen to stay at Lazio, but Manchester City and Liverpool are reportedly preparing enticing proposals.
The 23-year-old is currently on a two-year loan from Juventus, but the Biancocelesti have the obligation to buy him at the end of the season, a clause they’ll fulfill with great pleasure. After all, Rovella has already cemented himself as a key figure in Marco Baroni’s tactical scheme while emerging as one of the finest deep-lying playmakers in Serie A.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the Italy international is determined to linger at Formello for years to come, having finally found the ideal atmosphere to thrive. However, the midfielder already has several admirers in the Premier League, and chief among them are Man City and Liverpool, who have already tested the waters in January.

But while Lazio President Claudio Lotito wasn’t willing to dismantle his squad in the middle of the season, he might be more lenient in the summer, especially if he were to receive tempting figures. Man City had reportedly put €40 million on the table in the winter, but the Biancocelesti patron will request higher figures, potentially in the region of €50 million.
As for Rovella, his desire to start in the Italian capital is undeniable, but the riches and the prestige of the Premier League could be enough to sway the most stubborn of players.
