PSG had reportedly been keeping tabs on Lyon midfielder and Manchester United target Rayan Cherki, but they’ve now pulled out of the race. According to Foot Mercato, no talks are taking place, and none are expected in the near future.
The 21-year-old has been in top form this season, scoring 12 goals and providing 19 assists in 43 appearances. His performances have attracted serious attention, with Liverpool and Tottenham showing strong interest.
Manchester United are also in the mix. TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey recently reported that United are one of several Premier League clubs monitoring Cherki, alongside Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Newcastle.
Interest isn’t limited to England, either. Bayern Munich have also re-entered the race following Cherki’s standout season. But for now, PSG seem to be stepping aside.

CaughtOffside reported on Thursday that Cherki is also drawing interest from several top clubs, including Manchester City, Tottenham, Newcastle, Bayern Munich, and PSG. That has opened the door for Premier League clubs, with Liverpool and Manchester United reportedly most eager to sign Cherki.
Moreover, the report claims that Manchester United are seriously considering Cherki. The reason? He’s seen as an upgrade over underperformers like Marcus Rashford and Antony this season.
