On paper, Paris Saint-Germain’s signing of Randal Kolo Muani seemed like a great move, bringing in a talented French player in his prime. However, the transfer hasn’t gone as planned, and the Ligue 1 side could be looking to cut its losses.

Kolo Muani has been with PSG for over a year now, but he’s only managed 11 goals and six assists in that time. It also looks like manager Luis Enrique may have lost faith in him.

Instead of turning to Muani, Enrique has opted for a false No. 9, even with Gonçalo Ramos sidelined by injury. When Ramos got hurt, it seemed like the perfect chance for Muani to step up and secure the starting role, but that hasn’t been the case.

Fichajes reports that Manchester United are closely monitoring Kolo Muani’s situation and are reportedly ready to make a €70 million offer to bring him to Old Trafford.

The English club need attacking reinforcements and sees the French striker as a promising option to strengthen its front line. While he hasn’t fully lived up to expectations at PSG, his potential remains clear, and a move to the Premier League could rejuvenate his career.

PSG, looking to recover some of their investment, wouldn’t be opposed to his departure. Muani made a big impression in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists in the 2022-23 season, which prompted PSG to bring him in as a key piece of their attack.
