Liverpool face one of toughest tests of season so far
Nottingham Forest have the chance to close the gap to Liverpool to just three points as they meet in the Premier League tonight.
Forest, of course, are the only team to have beaten the Reds this season. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side overcame Arne Slot’s team 1-0 at Anfield back in September and have shown that was no fluke.
Indeed, they sit third in the Premier League table and could even put themselves in a position for an improbable title challenge if they can inflict a second defeat on Liverpool.
The Reds were held to a disappointing 2-2 draw against Manchester United last time out in the League but have since lost to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup before beating Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup.
Here’s everything you need to know about the game.
Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool is scheduled for an 8pm GMT kick-off time tonight, Tuesday January 14, 2025.
The City Ground in Nottingham will host.
TV channel: The game will be broadcast on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate.

Danilo came on during Forest’s win over Luton in the FA Cup to mark his return from a serious ankle injury. Ibrahim Sangare is also believed to be closing in on a return.
Dominik Szoboszlai came off at half-time on Saturday but Slot has confirmed that was a pre-planned move.
Darwin Nunez is suspended, having picked up five yellow cards this season. Joe Gomez is injured and is "quite far" away from fitness, as revealed by Slot in the pre-match press conference.
