Barcelona star Wojciech Szczęsny reiterated his commitment to the cause at the club on Monday morning.
This comes amid confirmation that the Pole, on a day off for Hansi Flick’s squad, nevertheless reported to Barcelona’s training base.
Goalkeeper Szczęsny has of course spent recent weeks establishing himself as the new first-choice option between the posts in Catalunya’s capital.
Across Barca’s last nine outings in all competitions, the former Arsenal and Juventus man has featured from the off, ahead of Iñaki Peña, in seven.
And this is a situation which Szczęsny evidently does not take for granted.
As alluded to above, on Monday, Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana squad was afforded a day off for rest and recovery.
But the club’s new no.1 nevertheless made his way to The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, for an individualised training session.
Barcelona are set to return to the pitch this coming Thursday, in a Copa del Rey quarter-final clash with Valencia.
