Marco Silva, the Fulham manager, is reportedly open to taking over at Tottenham Hotspur this summer if Ange Postecoglou is sacked, according to Football Insider.
Silva’s contract at Craven Cottage includes a release clause, which would allow him to leave for a fee, making a potential move possible.
Postecoglou is under increasing pressure following a disappointing domestic season that has seen Spurs drop to 16th in the Premier League.
Despite this, there is speculation that he could remain at Tottenham if they secure the Europa League title later this month.
Tottenham have had their worst Premier League season in a long time and it is not a surprise to see Postecoglou’s future come into question.
However, the Europa League could save him if he manages to win that competition.
Daniel Levy, Tottenham’s chairman, is believed to be an admirer of Silva, who has led Fulham into contention for European qualification.
While Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola was previously considered a frontrunner for the Tottenham job, reports suggest that Bournemouth are confident he will sign a new contract.
Silva’s current contract with Fulham runs until 2026, but the presence of a release clause and the lack of a new agreement could make an early departure possible.

As Tottenham’s season nears its conclusion, the club faces critical decisions regarding its managerial future, with Silva emerging as a strong candidate.
Only time will tell who will take charge of Spurs next season but more than anything else, it depends on the Europa League result for the North London club.
Surprisingly, Spurs have also been linked with a move for their former manager Jose Mourinho who is currently in the Turkish league at Fenerbahce.
