A positive relationship with Simone Inzaghi and rapport in the dressing room have been key to Marko Arnautovic finding form at Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908.

Marko Arnautovic is in the midst of his best run of form at Inter Milan. He is really demonstrating why the Nerazzurri re-signed him. At the ripe old age of 36.

Arnautovic has scored in his last several starts for the Nerazzurri.

The former West Ham United and Bologna striker scored a spectacular volley against Lazio in the Coppa Italia. Then he found the back of the net against Monza, Udinese, and Cagliari in Serie A.

There was also a brilliant assist for Lautaro Martinez against Cagliari.

Arnautovic’s form has been outstanding, and he has become a decisive player for Inter when they’ve needed him.

And this is not a coincidence, notes the Corriere.

Even though Marko Arnautovic has had some very underwhelming periods in the last couple years at Inter, he has always had the faith of everyone behind the scenes.

The Austrian has a strong rapport with the rest of the squad. His experience and mentality have endeared him to his teammates.

And Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has always backed Arnautovic fully.

Those facts have enabled Arnautovic to ride out the bad periods and injuries. He has always believed that he’d be able to chip in the way that he has been doing in recent weeks.
