Reading will be hoping they can hold their nerve in the race to win promotion into the Premier League this term under the management of Veljko Paunovic.
The Royals are currently sat fifth in the Championship table, and will be hoping they can put together a positive run of results from now until the end of this year’s campaign.
The likes of Lucas Joao and Michael Olise are just some of the players that have played their part in the Berkshire-based side’s strong league campaign so far this term.
We take a look at Reading’s top-ten biggest earners according to Salary Sport.
Find out who comes in at number ten on the next page….
Kicking the list off at number ten is Reading full-back Andy Yiadom.
It is claimed that the former Barnsley defender earns a weekly wage of £7,500. Yiadom has made () appearances in total for Reading this season having struggled with injury problems, but will be looking to be a regular in the starting XI since returning to the fold.
Yakou Meite is eighth in the list, with the Ivorian international earning £11,000-a-week.
Meite has scored some crucial goals over the years for Reading, and will be looking to play his part in their bid for promotion into the Premier League when he returns from an injury lay-off.
Sam Baldock is in at number eight on the list, which won’t be pleasing to hear for the Madejski Stadium faithful, with the forward reportedly earning £13,000 per week.
Baldock has rarely featured for the Berkshire-based side in recent years, and has been kept out of the starting XI due to the good run of form shown by Lucas Joao.
Sone Aluko is in at number seven, with the former Fulham winger reportedly earning £13,000 per week.
Aluko had previously struggled for consistent game time in the Reading team, but has been given an opportunity to impress this season under Paunovic’s management.
Ovie Ejaria comes in at number six, with the midfielder earning £14,000 each week.
The former Liverpool man has caught the eye with a number of impressive performances for the Royals, and will be a key member of Paunovic’s side this term, as they set their sights on a timely return to the Premier League.
Lucas Joao is at number five for the Royals, with the forward reportedly earning £15,000 per week.
The forward has scored 20 goals in 28 appearances for Reading this season, and will be eager to find some confidence in front of goal, after a slight dip in form.
Romanian international George Puscas is at number four on the list, with the forward earning £16,000 per week.
Puscas has struggled for a consistent run in the starting XI for Reading, but will be keen to play his part in their promotion bid this term.
Brazilian goalkeeper Rafael kicks off the top-three, with the shot-stopper reportedly earning £18,000 per week.
The goalkeeper’s performances have come in for some criticism, but he’ll be hoping to put that behind him in the near future, with a crucial run of fixtures still to come this term.
John Swift comes in at number two, with the former Chelsea midfielder earning £25,000 per week.
The midfielder’s spell in the Reading team in recent years has been restricted due to a number of injury problems, and it remains to be seen as to whether he’ll return before the end of this year’s campaign.
Reading FC captain Liam Moore is at number one, with the defender reportedly earning £30,000 per week.
Moore has been with the club since 2016, after signing from Leicester City, and has gone on to make over 200 appearances for the Royals.
