Following the postponement of their La Liga clash against CA Osasuna on Saturday night due to tragic circumstances, Barcelona will be back in action on Tuesday when they face SL Benfica in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second-leg fixture.
Post that, the Blaugrana will have another crucial match later in the week as they travel to the Metropolitano to take on Atletico Madrid in a top-of-the-table La Liga encounter.
It will be a tightly-contested encounter between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, with Los Rojiblancos already beating Hansi Flick’s men once in the league before holding them to a 4-4 draw in the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg.
However, Diego Simeone’s side will enter the game against Barcelona next Sunday without the presence of forward Angel Correa.

The 30-year-old was sent off during Atleti’s 2-1 loss to Getafe earlier today at Coliseum Alfonso Perez, as a result of which he will be suspended and miss the game against Barcelona next weekend.
Correa, who came on at half-time for Samuel Lino, was initially shown a yellow card by referee Cuadra Fernandez for a rash tackle on Djene. But upon being asked to check the foul again by the VAR, he changed his decision and showed a red card to the Atletico star.
Correa has played 37 matches for Atletico Madrid this season, scoring seven and assisting five goals. While not a regular starter, the 30-year-old is a valuable member of Simeone’s setup and even assisted a goal vs Barça in the cup tie.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid will also be sweating over the fitness of Barcelona loanee Clement Lenglet, who had to be pulled from the starting XI vs Getafe after he felt some discomfort during warm-up just before kickoff.
Atletico’s loss to Getafe means Barcelona will enter next week as the leaders of La Liga despite not playing this weekend as even if Real Madrid win their match, they will be behind on goal difference.
