According to a report by L’Équipe, after an absence of seven weeks Emanuel Emegha (21) will be able to be selected for RC Strasbourg Alsace’s clash with Stade de Reims on Sunday afternoon.

The Dutchman sprained his left ankle and knee during Strasbourg’s 4-2 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on the 19th of October. The French outlet writes that the striker was only expected to be absent for two and a half weeks.

However, the injuries were considered far more serious than first realised and the player would need far more time to recover. On Wednesday, the fourth of November, Emegha was able to complete the entire training session, meaning he could be part of the weekend’s squad.

Strasbourg still have some injury concerns Abakar Sylla (21) and Ismaël Doukouré (21) were only able to do light training and are doubts for the Reims fixture, while Caleb Wiley (19) has a dislocated shoulder and will not be available.
