Marcus Rashford looks set to leave Manchester United this month after expressing his readiness for a new challenge.
The 27-year-old has not featured since being dropped from the squad for the Manchester Derby last month, an omission that was followed by his revelation of a desire to leave Old Trafford.
Rashford’s representatives have held talks with several sides this month in a bid to get a deal done. Clubs across Europe are interested in the forward, who has struggled to find his best form across the last 18 months.
For those interested in the latest odds, we’ve looked at the likeliest destinations. Using odds from SmartBettingGuide, we’ve ranked the bookmakers’ favourites to sign Marcus Rashford.
Arsenal have emerged as outside contenders to sign Rashford as Mikel Arteta looks to improve his side’s goal threat. Bukayo Saka’s absence with a hamstring injury has blunted Arsenal’s attack, with Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz struggling for consistency.
Arsenal lead the league for set-piece goals in 2024/25 but rank eighth for gals scored from open-play in the Premier League. Rashford’s arrival could inject new threat in the North London side’s frontline as Arsenal look to close the gap on leaders Liverpool in the title race.
Paris Saint-Germain have drifted to fourth-favourites despite a long-standing interest in Rashford.
Back in 2022, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi expressed the club’s interest in signing Rashford as a free agent before the forward penned a new deal at Old Trafford.
“He’s another player that is really amazing,” Al-Khelaifi said.
“And for free? To have Rashford for free, every club would run after him, definitely. We’re not hiding it, we spoke before and… interest. But the moment was not a good moment for both sides.”
PSG remain in search of further firepower with Randal Kolo Muani set to move on this month. However, the French champions are prioritising a move for Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as things stand.
Juventus are looking to the loan market to reinforce their side, as Thiago Motta looks to turn draws into wins. The Bianconeri are unbeaten after 18 games in Serie A this season, but have drawn 11 of those fixtures to sit fifth in the standings.
Dusan Vlahovic is the only player in the Juventus ranks to have scored more than five league goals during the current campaign.
Borussia Dortmund are understood to be eyeing another loan raid on Old Trafford. The Germans re-signed Jadon Sancho on loan from Manchester United last season, with the winger helping Dortmund to the Champions League final.
Nuri Sahin’s side are off the pace in the Bundesliga title race and could look to sign another winger this month. Dutch international Donyell Malen is subject of interest from Aston Villa.
AC Milan are the current favourites to sign Rashford with talks between the player’s representatives and the Italian side held.
Milan are struggling to recapture former glories and sit eighth in Serie A, but remain one of the most prestigious institutions in European football.
A move to Milan could also see Rashford reunite with several familiar faces. England internationals Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori are all part of new head coach Sérgio Conceição’s squad at the San Siro.
