FC Barcelona have had a 2024-25 season to remember so far, and their attack has been one of the main ingredients behind their success. The frontline of Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and Lamine Yamal has been one of the most entertaining and effective forward lines in Europe.
Meanwhile, substitutes like Ferran Torres have also impressed whenever given the opportunity to step on the pitch.
However, one player for whom this season has gone quite badly is the Spaniard Ansu Fati, who returned to the Blaugrana club from a loan with Brighton and Hove Albion last summer but has been unable to take advantage of the opportunities afforded to him.
Thus, the forward remains quite low in Hansi Flick’s pecking order for the forward positions, and the Catalan club has already decided to part ways with him permanently in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Seemingly, such a departure is not expected to be a problem for Barcelona as Fichajes reports that three La Liga clubs have already shown an interest in Fati and are willing to pursue his signing, i.e., Real Sociedad, Valencia, and Sevilla.
The player himself prefers a move to Sevilla, a side where he believes he can rediscover his form and enjoy a high degree of success. However, the Andalusians are facing financial problems, and signing the player would be a problem if the Blaugranes’ demand a high fee.
On the other hand, Valencia and Real Sociedad are healthier financially, and this can end up being in their favor if a deal is ultimately struck between the involved parties.
Thus, it is not yet clear where Ansu Fati will be playing next season. However, the one thing certain is that Barcelona will try to ensure his departure from the club, which seems to be the best way forward for both parties.
