Footage of Barcelona star Wojciech Szczęsny, stemming from the aftermath of yesterday’s meeting with Real Madrid, has gone viral online.

This comes after the significance of Barca’s victory over their arch rivals hit home for the goalkeeper.

Szczęsny, of course, linked up with Hansi Flick’s Blaugrana late last year, stepping out of retirement following the long-term injury suffered by Marc-André ter Stegen.

And the Pole has since gone on to thoroughly impress between the posts in Catalunya’s capital, now keeping no.1 and captain Ter Stegen out of Barcelona’s XI.

On Sunday evening, Szczęsny was in from the off once more, for the season’s final edition of El Clásico.

Following a pulsating 90 minutes, Barcelona emerged on the right side of a 4-3 result, in the process all but confirming their status as Spanish champions.

And as alluded to above, the significance of the result when it comes to not only Barca’s season, but his career as a whole, was not long in hitting home for Szczęsny.

As showcased in the footage below, the former Arsenal and Juventus shot-stopper was spotted taking it all in on the Montjuïc pitch, brought to tears as the Blaugrana’s imminent title sunk in.
