Following the end of a triumphant season that saw Leeds United secure promotion back to the Premier League, Josuha Guilavogui took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message to his teammates, coaches, and the club’s passionate supporters.

"After a long career at the highest level, I found myself in a place where I knew I still had more to give, but I couldn’t just choose any club. I needed something that meant more something that would truly challenge and fulfill me.

"As I sit and reflect on the last 7 months, I’m filled with emotions I didn’t expect when I signed to joined this club. This journey has meant more than I could have imagined.

"I just want to say thank you to everyone who made this season and my time in England truly unforgettable.

"To my teammates, thank you for the love, the respect, and the consideration you gave me much more than I could ask for. We made something historic.

"We had a lot of trials, but like gold, we went through the fire and came out with the gold medal. You made me a champion of England.

"To the coach and the staff, my first thought goes to the Boss, who took the risk to believe in a player who never played in UK. You gave me your trust, and I will always be grateful. To the staff so much love. You were always there for us, always making us feel special. The work behind the scenes was UNBELIEVABLE. You helped make me a Champion of England.
