Lazio have officially parted company with their eagle handler after he showed pictures of his penile implant on social media.
Lazio have sacked their falconer Juan Bernabé after the latter had shared explicit images of his penile implant on social media.
The Biancocelesti confirmed their decision on Monday night, saying that the upcoming home matches will be played without the Eagle Olympia, which used to fly over the Stadio Olimpico before kick-off.
Lazio said they were “appalled” to see images shared by Bernabé on social media and read his claims.
The Serie A club insisted it was “impossible to be associated with a person who, on his own initiative, has made the continuation of the relationship inadmissible.”
Bernabé had talked about his implant with the Italian radio show La Zanzara on Monday before being sacked by the club.
Bernabé said he had shared the pictures and videos on his private X channel, meaning it was a private matter.
However, he also claimed that he wanted to make people aware of the kind of operation he underwent and that he had “no regrets.”
Lazio suspended Bernabé in 2021 when he was caught on camera making a fascist salute and saying that he admired Benito Mussolini.
