‘Can’t imagine Real Madrid without him’ – Kylian Mbappé speaks out on relationship with Vinícius Jr. | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has this week opened up on his relationship with teammate and attacking partner in crime Vinícius Jr.

The impending joining of forces between frontmen Vinícius and Mbappé of course represented a headline talking point in the media last summer.

This came amid widespread concerns surrounding the egos of the pair, and how well they would co-exist in the same dressing room.

To date, few, if any issues have been noted between the duo, both of whom appear to have adapted well behind the scenes.

In fact, Vinícius and Mbappé have been noted as having struck up quite a strong friendship both on and off the pitch.

Speaking to the media this week, the subject of his bond with his fellow attacker was therefore put to Mbappé once more.

And, during an interview with La Sexta, as cited by Fabrizio Romano, the summer arrival in Spain’s capital made use of the opportunity to assure:

“I have a great relationship with Vini Jr… I can’t imagine Real Madrid without Vinícius. I came here also with the idea to play next to Vini.”
