Despite having a contract until 2027, AC Milan are looking to offer Christian Pulisic a new contract, and some information has been revealed.
There have been few players as consistently dependent as Pulisic has been for Milan across Europe in the past two seasons. Whenever he has been needed, the American has regularly provided, often when others around him have not.
In fact, the first six months of the 2024/25 season were built around him being at his best, and there were concerns about the Rossoneri actually being overdependent on the winger. Of course, Maurizio Pochettino was the big opposition to his minutes.
Nevertheless, things seem to have eased a little in the second half of the season.
To partner his good performances over the past two seasons, there have been whispers about a new contract being prepared for him – to reward his performances and protect the club further from interested parties.
So, GOAL today reports that the Diavolo are looking to offer him a four year renewal, which would run until 2029 – giving him an extra two years on his current deal (due to expire in 2027). Furthermore, the American would be given a deserved wage increase, going from €4 million to the €5m mark.
