I just get a feeling…

A feeling that the wheels are just showing signs of starting to come off at Newcastle United…

Severe back room upheaval in the summer

OneFootball Videos

Trying to force fit three midfielders into two positions

No decent options to change at centre back

No option other than Isak up front

No right wing option

Patchy form

Can’t hit a barn door never mind the net

Now Gordon injured

Same tactics every game;

No strength in depth

Sloppy at times with poor decision making

And no luck…

And Arsenal and Nottingham Forest in the Premier League next for Newcastle United….

With current lack of Newcastle United form in front of goal or luck, I really can’t see us picking up any points against either Arsenal or Forest, so I’m really not getting any hopes up, if we do get anything it will be a huge bonus.

For me, this is now a strange sort of “battle of survival” until January and if we don’t land at least three decent players (centre back, right winger and a Wilson replacement), then we are destined for a mid/low league position. Probably with Eddie Howe being sacked at the end of the season.

Tough to hear for some, but being realistic, with our current performances, NO game in the Premier League looks easy any more.

It’s not all doom and gloom though – we are playing ok in patches and we are creating chances – we just need a break or two – something from somewhere and a bit of sensible defending and we’ll get back on track – but does seem like a far-fetched idea at the moment.

Come on Eddie – sort it – stop being a nice guy (some could do with a good old hairdryer).

I would say drop a few but we’ve got no one of note to bring in!

In the immortal words… ”Don’t Panic”… just yet.
