Inter Milan will activate an option to make the loan signing of Nicola Zalewski from Roma permanent this summer.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews. They report that signing the Polish international outright will be the Nerazzurri’s first major piece of business for the window.
Nicola Zalewski is currently on loan with Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri signed the 23-year-old wingback on loan from Roma during the January transfer window. This followed the departure of Tajon Buchanan.
Zalewski has certainly made an impact at Inter.
The Pole has started several recent matches, where he has fit in well to the team. He scored his first goal for Inter against Torino last weekend.
Moreover, Zalewski’s versatility has proven to be an asset.
The 23-year-old has shown that he can play on the left or right flank. Moreover, he played an attacking midfield role against Torino, where he shone.

For these reasons, Inter Milan have no doubts about Nicola Zalewski.
The Nerazzurri want to sign the Pole on a permanent basis.
There is a purchase option in Zalewski’s loan deal at Inter. The Nerazzurri can reportedly sign him outright for around €7 million.
And SportItalia report that Inter will definitely trigger that option.
Inter owners Oaktree Capital are keen to invest in the squad this summer. Therefore, there will hardly be the kind of penny-pinching that there has been in past transfer windows.
And the first order of business will be to tie down Zalewski’s future.
