Lazio are reportedly open to selling Nuno Tavares in June once they finalize his permanent transfer from Arsenal.
The Portuguese left-back joined the Italian capital side on loan from the Gunners with an obligation to buy worth circa €5 million, and the Premier League giants retaining a 50% sell-on fee.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a sensational first half of the season, which earned him a nomination for the Best Serie A Defender Award for the 2024/25 campaign, even though his momentum was later halted by successive muscle injuries.
But according to Il Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), the Biancocelesti are willing to consider offers for Tavares in the early transfer window between June 1 and June 10. The newspaper claims that several Club World Cup participants have enquired about the left-back, and Lazio are open to a sale as long as they receive a satisfying offer.
The source adds that the Aquile have identified Junior Firpo as the first choice to fill in for Tavares. The 28-year-old has been a stalwart at Elland Road since making the move from Barcelona to Leeds United in the summer of 2021. However, his contract will expire at the end of June, so the two parties are set to part ways.

The Dominican full-back played a vital role in Leeds’ triumphant campaign in the English Championship, helping the Peacocks earn a promotion to the Premier League while contributing with four goals and 10 assists. The soon-to-be free agent has several suitors, but Lazio are believed to be the front-runners in the race.
