Liverpool head to Craven Cottage on Sunday aiming to keep pace in the Premier League title race, but Arne Slot faces some tough choices ahead of kick-off. With injuries and returning players to manage, the Reds’ trip to face Fulham comes at a decisive moment in their season.

Top of the list is whether Alisson will return in goal. The Brazilian shot-stopper missed the Merseyside derby win over Everton due to concussion suffered on international duty. Slot confirmed: “With Ali, it is simple: it is a concussion and you have to tick all the boxes. The moment he does, he will be in goal. The moment he doesn’t, we are following the protocol.”
If Alisson is unavailable, Caoimhin Kelleher—who has deputised with assurance—will continue between the posts.
Curtis Jones turned heads at right-back midweek and could keep his place. However, Conor Bradley is back in training after a hamstring injury and may feature if deemed fit. Slot kept his cards close to his chest, saying: “Conor, we have to wait and see if he is ready to be with the squad for Sunday… Curtis is an option because he did well, but I think Jarell [Quansah] did well a few times in that position also.”

Liverpool emerged from the Everton game without fresh injury concerns. Alexis Mac Allister is expected to start despite taking a heavy knock from James Tarkowski. The midfield and forward lines remain stable, with Salah, Gakpo, Szoboszlai and Jota all likely to feature.
Alisson (if fit); Jones, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Jota.
Kick-off at Craven Cottage is at 2pm BST on Sunday, April 6.
