Sky Germany reports that Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt are continuing their negotiations over forward Omar Marmoush as they look to agree a transfer fee.
Frankfurt continue to hold out for €80m and the Premier League side have already made a bid of €60m, which was rejected. It is expected that the two parties will agree on a deal that is worth €70 with €5-10m in add-ons. For context, Frankfurt signed Marmoush on a free transfer in 2023.
City are pushing to have the deal finalised within the next two days which means that it is unlikely that Marmoush will be in the squad for Frankfurt’s next game against Borussia Dortmund on Friday. City have already agreed personal terms with the 25 year old.
If Marmoush has played his final game at Frankfurt, he would have ended it in style, scoring and assisting twice as Frankfurt came from behind to beat SC Freiburg 4-1 at Deutsche Bank Park.
