Napoli set to close deal with outgoing Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne in the next 48 hours | OneFootball

Serie A side Napoli have virtually completed the signing of departing Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne.

According to an update by Matteo Moretto, Kevin De Bruyne’s lawyers are arriving in Naples soon to define and sign the agreement for a transfer with Napoli. The deal is set to be concluded and signatures by the player can be expected in the next 48 hours.

A three-year contract is ready for the Belgian stalwart as the Partenopei intend to send a clear signal of defending the Scudetto with this signing.

While the future of head coach Antonio Conte remains uncertain, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is not resting on that matter alone and has already moved on to secure a top signing before other clubs approach De Bruyne.

The Neapolitans see this soon-to-be signing as a massive victory in the transfer market for sporting director Giovanni Manna, as negotiations for De Bruyne’s transfer started immediately after he announced his departure from Man City.
