The statistical Team of the Week in the Copa del Rey has on Friday been unveiled online.

And it features a whole host of players from Spanish football’s leading clubs.

The quarter-finals of this season’s Copa, of course, played out over the course of this week, with the quartet of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid and Real Sociedad having ultimately marched on to the competition’s semis.

In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of players from these four clubs dominating SofaScore‘s statistical Team of the Round.

Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad lead the way with four inclusions, in the form of Eric García, Pedri, Lamine Yamal, and Ferran Torres.

Real and Atlético Madrid, meanwhile, boast two representatives apiece. From the former, Luka Modrić and Brahim Díaz make the cut, with Robin Le Normand and Giuliano Simeone flying the flag for Diego Simeone’s side.

Rounding out the XI are Leganés pair Juan Soriano and Juan Cruz, and Real Sociedad stopper Igor Zubeldia.
