Manchester United won their final Premier League game of the campaign 2-0 against Aston Villa on Sunday, but Ruben Amorim still has a lot on his plate.

He needs to decide the futures of several big names, including Alejandro Garnacho and Andre Onana, both of whom were dropped from the matchday squad for Sunday’s game.

The head coach has reportedly already informed the Argentine to find a new club in the summer after taking offence to the forward’s comments after the Europa League final debacle.

The United No 17 had expressed his dissatisfaction at being dropped to the bench for the biggest game of the season, and that was not the only time the pair have fallen out.

Amorim has had enough of Alejandro Garnacho and his tantrums

The first was before the Manchester derby in December and then during the Ipswich Town game earlier this year.

The Portuguese tactician seems to have had enough and there are quite a few clubs chasing the Argentina international while the 20-year-old will also try to engineer a move to either Real Madrid or Liverpool as per reports.

Before the Villa game at Old Trafford, Amorim was asked about Alejandro Garnacho’s future, and the head coach revealed that the Carrington graduate will be travelling with the team on the club’s post-season Asia tour.

When posed the question that the Argentine might have played his last game for the Red Devils, Amorim told TNT Sports: “No. Garnacho is a Manchester United player that is not in the squad today, but he continues to be a Manchester United player.”

Alejandro Garnacho will travel to Asia

About the games in Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong, Amorim added: “Yes (he is going to travel), everybody is going because we have to go to meet our fans and give something to our fans in the other side of the world.”

Garnacho and his young family stepped onto the Old Trafford pitch after the game and took a lap of the ground and he was serenaded by the fans.

It will be disappointing for the club to lose one of their brightest young talents but INEOS have decided to back the head coach over the player.

It will be interesting to see how much the club can earn from his sale in the summer. The good news is all of it will count as pure profit due to his homegrown status.
