The Eagles announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
Kaminski was appointed Crystal Palace head coach in summer 2023. She guided the South Londoners to the Barclays Women’s Championship title at the first attempt last season.
Like many promoted clubs, Crystal Palace have found the step up to the Barclays Women’s Super League tough. The club have spent the majority of the season at the bottom of the table and the decision has today been made to part company with head coach Kaminski.
Following this afternoon’s announcement, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish said “This has been an extremely difficult decision for the club to take. Laura has made a fantastic impact since arriving in the summer of 2023, getting the club promoted to the WSL for the first time in its history.
“Laura has given her all, on and off the pitch, and she leaves here with all of our thanks and best wishes for the future.”
With Crystal Palace fighting to stay in the Barclays Women’s Super League, the club are expected to take an urgent approach to the process of recruiting a new head coach.
