Crystal Palace Women have parted company with head coach Laura Kaminski.
Kaminski becomes the second WSL managerial departure in 24 hours following Liverpool's decision to sack Matt Beard on Thursday after four years in charge.
Coincidentally both teams are scheduled to face off in the league on Sunday.
Under Kaminski, the Eagles earned their first-ever involvement in the WSL in her debut season but currently find themselves rooted to the foot of the table.
“This has been an extremely difficult decision for the club to take," said Palace chairman Steve Parish.
“Laura has made a fantastic impact since arriving in the summer of 2023, getting the club promoted to the WSL for the first time in its history.
“Laura has given her all, on and off the pitch, and she leaves here with all of our thanks and best wishes for the future.”
Palace will welcome Liverpool on the back of just one win all season.
