Inter have decided upon their training base for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the summer, which will be played in the United States across late June and early July.

The Nerazzurri will be based at UCLA to prepare and train for the tournament this summer. Coincidentally, the Nerazzurri also trained at UCLA for their pre-season tour of the United States in the summer of 2009, in preparation for what turned out to be a treble-winning season under Jose Mourinho in 2009-10.

Inter will play in at least three matches at the Club World Cup, before the tournament progresses into the knock-out rounds.

The UCLA base is a convenient choice for Inter rather than an intentional decision to replicate the summer before the treble-winning season, as all three of the team’s group stage matches will be played on the West Coast.

Inter will play against CF Monterrey at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles first on June 17, before playing their next two matches at Lumen Field in Seattle against Urawa Red Diamonds and River Plate on June 21 and June 25 respectively.
