Germany's "Sport Bild" tabloid reports that a likely solution for the long-term injury of right-back Benjamin Henrichs will see RB Leipzig dip into the reserves of it Austrian sister club. The tabloid lists RB Salzburg fullback Amar Dedic as a strong candidate for a winter transfer.

The RB pipeline - recently strengthened further by the move of Leipzig administrator Rouven Schröder down south - should facilitate a quick and easy transfer, even if the paper admits that concrete negotiations have not begun yet.

In on the outgoing transfer front, it looks to be the case that current Leipzig chief personnel officer Marcel Schäfer wishes to move two players (André Silva and Eljif Elmas) off his roster in the coming transfer window.

Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo reports that a new loan locale for Portuguese striker André Silva has been found. The 29-year-old will be headed back to Spain. The Spanish source reports that negotiations with La Liga's Rayo Vallecano are at an "advanced stage".

RB trainer Marco Rose has given Silva some minutes off the bench this year, as well as one cup and one Champions' League start. Silva converted a penalty in a match-day 13 victory over Holstein Kiel, giving him his first Bundesliga goal since bagging a brace against Schalke in January of 2023.

Silva's exorbitant salary - part of the contract he signed when joining from Eintracht Frankfurt on a mega-deal in the summer of 2021 - nevertheless remains a problem for the Saxon club. Per the Spanish paper, a loan with a purchase option is being negotiated.
