Speaking ahead of the second-leg of the quarter-final against Aston Villa, the France international was directly asked whether this PSG side is the best he has ever played in.

“I have played in some good teams. Stade Rennais too were a great team, I remember,” Dembélé hastened to point out after the Breton club was not cited in the question. “I don’t know if this PSG team is the best that I have played in because I played with Lionel Messi at Barcelona and for me, he is the best player of all time. But [PSG] are one of the teams where I’ve had the most fun.”
