Ahead of their crunch match with Werder Bremen this weekend, RB Leipzig's interim head coach Szolt Löw gave his thoughts at his press conference.
"A lot is at stake. We want to do our homework and win the last two games to maintain our remaining chance of a Champions League spot.
“Werder also aims to climb towards Europe. It will be a very interesting game. I hope we can take the three points," he added.
Löw also provided a squad update on who is suspended and unavailable for Saturday's game at the Weserstadion.
"It really hurts us that David [Raum] and Kevko [Kampl] will be suspended against Bremen. They played well against Bayern and helped us a lot with their experience and passion.
"These are big losses. With Kevko and Amadou out, the midfield situation is clear. Arthur Vermeeren has done well recently and is the obvious solution.
“He's also attracting attention with his good training performances. We're now putting our trust in him,” Löw added.
Otherwise, Peter Gulácsi is fit again while Chad Bitshiabu returns from suspension and Antonio Nusa can play 30-45 minutes.
