Villarreal agree deal for Inter Milan star | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Villarreal have reached an agreement with their counterparts at Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan, over a loan signing through the summer.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Tajon Buchanan as the player all set to link up with Marcelino’s squad.

Versatile wide-man Buchanan has for his part endured an altogether difficult campaign in Italy to date.

Owing to major competition for places in Simone Inzaghi’s high-flying Inter Milan squad, the Canadian international has been afforded just six Serie A appearances, all from the bench.

Such struggles had given rise to inevitable recent speculation that Buchanan could therefore be on the move this month.

And, as alluded to above, on Tuesday, confirmation of as much has come to the fore.

As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:

‘Villarreal agree deal to sign Tajon Buchanan on loan move from Inter with salary covered. Understand there’s a buy option clause also included in the deal.’
