Bologna CEO Claudio Fenucci expects ‘an entertaining match’ against Napoli this evening and confirms Riccardo Orsolini received many offers, but they ‘never considered selling.’
It kicks off at the Stadio Dall’Ara at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).
The Rossoblu are on stunning form, winning their last six consecutive matches, including the midweek 3-0 Coppa Italia semi-final first leg away to Empoli.

“I think the secret of many sporting success stories is hard work. We are enjoying this moment, but also very calm, because the team is continuing to do what has got us this far, while also aware of what is still needed in a difficult match like tonight,” Fenucci told DAZN.
“We faced opponents of a very high level this season, including in the Champions League, but our approach has never changed. I therefore expect us to again be aggressive, try to take the initiative against a Napoli side that also focuses on intensity. I expect an entertaining match,” added Fenucci.
Bologna are missing injured Davide Calabria, while Santiago Castro is only fit enough for a spot on the bench, so Thijs Dallinga again leads the attack flanked by Riccardo Orsolini, Jens Odgaard and Dan Ndoye.
Orsolini has been on particularly fine form, scoring repeatedly in recent weeks and ‘knocking’ on the television cameras in celebration.
“Orsolini has always been one of our key players, he has been with us for many years, he had several offers and we never considered the possibility of selling, nor did he ask to leave,” continued the director.
“He is by now a son of Bologna and has always responded well when called upon. Orsolini is the top scoring wide player in Serie A, but it is also no coincidence that the team really stepped up a gear when Orsolini stepped up a gear this season.”
This is a huge fixture for the table, because while Napoli can close the gap on leaders Inter to just one point with a victory, it is also true to say Bologna could leapfrog Atalanta into third place with a win.
