Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espírito Santo has provided a positive injury update on Thursday ahead of the club's FA Cup clash with Luton Town.
Midfielder Danilo will be available for selection on the weekend after recovering from a broken leg sustained during the club's Premier League opener.
The 23-year-old rejoined training a few weeks ago and is now set to earn some minutes against Luton as he regains full fitness.
“We all wish to see Danilo back on the pitch. He is going to be involved in the squad, he is not going to start, hopefully all of us will get to see him. But we are delighted to have him back,” said Nuno in his pre-match press conference.
“You can already feel [his boost to the dressing room]. Danilo has a smile that is contagious. It has been really good to have him back.”
Fellow midfielder Ibrahim Sangare, however, is still a few weeks away from featuring for Forest.
“It is good to see Ibrahim working on the grass as well, even if he is still working on his own,” said Nuno. “It will be a big boost for us to have him back as well. But it will take a while. We need to integrate him back into the group, we need to get him ready.”
Alongside reaching the third round of the FA Cup, Forest currently sit third in the Premier League.
