Feyenoord remain in race to sign Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei | OneFootball

According to Fabrizio Romano, Feyenoord are still showing concrete interest in Chelsea youngster Cesare Casadei. The 22-year-old is free to leave Stamford Bridge this month as long as Chelsea’s requirements are met. Torino, Lazio and a number of Premier league sides are also reportedly interested in the midfielder.

Casadei has featured just six times for Chelsea’s first team so far this season, with five of those games coming in the Europa Conference League and one in the Carabao Cup. The Italy youth international spent last season on loan with Leicester City, where he excelled making 22 league appearances with the promotion winning side.

Feyenoord have already announced the signing of one midfielder this week, brining in Brighton’s Jakub Moder on a permanent deal. Cesare Casadei remains a top target for the Rotterdam club, but with so many sides interested, it could be a tricky one. Lazio are set to submit a new formal bid, while Torino are also front runners.
