Lamine Yamal to link up with Barcelona legend Neymar in Brazil | OneFootball

Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal is set to spend time with club icon Neymar Jr. in the latter’s home country of Brazil over the weeks ahead.

That’s according to Diario Sport, citing Cadena SER, who have provided an insight into the latest plans of Barcelona’s attacking sensation.

Hansi Flick’s troops are primed to bring a hugely successful campaign to a close this weekend, in a La Liga meeting with Athletic Club.

From here, the Blaugrana’s stars will be afforded some much-needed time off to unwind and recharge their batteries for next season.

And as alluded to above, one such player has already put plans in place for his time off.

As per Sport, Lamine Yamal intends to travel to Brazil for a well-earned holiday before joining the Spanish national team squad for next month’s Nations League semi-final clash against Spain.

During his trip, the 17-year-old is also expected to make use of the opportunity to spend some time with former Barca star Neymar Jr, a player whom Lamine has long made clear is his idol:

‘Both have exchanged praise through the media, something that has helped the two end up getting in touch, before going on to meet in Brazil to get to know each other and spend a few days together.’
